After finishing her masters in ophthalmology she underwent long term fellowship training in Vitreoretinal surgery and Retinopathy of Prematurity from renowned Tejas Eye Hospital (Surat), and also trained at HV Desai Eye Hospital (Pune)

She has done more than 3000 retinal procedures and has a vast experience in medical and surgical management of simple and complex vitreo retinal diseases, including retinal detachment, diabetic eye diseases, age related macular degeneration, etc and numerous other retinal procedures

She has screened and managed a large number of preterm infants for Retinopathy of Prematurity. She was one of the doctors leading Diabetic Retinopathy Programme by government of Gujarat public health foundation of India (queen Elizabeth trust) and Tejas Eye Hospital and achieved vast experience in diagnosis and management of Diabetic eye disease, including lasers, intravitreal injections and surgeries.
